I also wonder why he went of in a spin.
The description says that a camber arm broke. But how do you know? You see a camber arm broken in the aftermath but it went into a spin into the grass. How do you know if that didnt broke the camber arm? The video shows he was off throttle, gradually reducing speed and that there was no major bump when he started to spin. Under that condition the camber arm broke and not after? When he goes off throttle, it looks like the car wants to pull slightly to the right, so maybe an aero issue or bad wheel alignment? Or in bmw terms: 1,5psi tyre pressure difference

The car had a roll bar and fire system.
These spin outs over 200 are a known problem when the stock rear spoiler is removed or is replaced with a duck bill spoiler as seen in the video. It also exaggerates the affect when you add front downforce. IMO - the rear camber arm broke as a result of the spin out and didn't cause the spin out. |

Car looked like it almost rolled from the inside view. Definitely agree that the car needed more rear downforce, looked like it was a total possibility that the strip was bumpy, rear end became unloaded, and well...

the Gtr spun out do to a dip at the end of the strip, 200+ Mph + a dip = this, improper maintenance of the strip for an event like this
the car is owned by a very close customer and friend of ours, its one of many high horsepower cars he owns the car has minimal damage and is currently getting repaired and the driver is fine the other car racing him is our shop M5 |

I've been in a 1,300 hp and I swear it felt like my internal organs were being pulled outside of my carcass. Cannot imagine an extra 700 hp.
