Driving in Limp Mode

I did some searching but couldn't find a definitive answer on this.

My 08 e92 is basically stuck in limp mode at this point. I've got an appointment at the dealer for the airbag recall + now to run some diagnostics on the ICA which is driving the problem.

The dealer is about 20 miles away. Is it alright to drive there in limp mode? Or best have it towed?

Thanks

if it's o2s or actuators i'd say be careful but if it's oil pump i'd say tow it. it all depends on the codes that put it in limp mode. i'd sign up for aaa and have it towed. even a flatbed out of pocket is less than $100.

Nope, not oil pump. Error is P152D, Idle Speed Control Valve. If I can have it towed for ~$100 I'll certainly do that. Thanks
