Steering rod ends - feedback please

Any feedback from anyone who has fitted Turner/SPL or similar steering rod ends? Any downsides on the street as a daily? Thanks.

What are you hoping to achieve with putting these on a daily?

If so, I’d get the requisite tools to install rubber boots to protect the sphericals as they’ll be exposed and wear.

Refreshing front end on a higher mileage car, and wanting to maximise steering response/feel. Car is not a true daily, more a weekend toy!

Monoballs will improve steering feel more than tie rod ends I think. The stock rod ends are already ball joints.

Thanks, I intend to go with monoball front arms, so perhaps not worth going beyond OEM for the rod ends?

I'd still like to hear pros/cons from someone who has the higher spec rod ends.

As Redd mentioned, just do the monoballs. There are countless threads providing feedback on this improvement for street applications.

I have the SPL catalog - The tie rods are part of a system to enable greater control of alignments and geometry improvements for aggressively lowered cars. I don’t think you’ll find any change on street application.

I wish there was more information about suspension geometry for our cars. End links would help with bumpsteer on a lowered cars.
