Rumored New BMW Supercar! - 625hp Twin Turbo V10

No rest for the wicked! -Not to be out done BMW steps up with a rumored 625HP Twin Turbo V10 supercar! The car will be built from carbon-fibre construction [ala Sauber F1] , kevlar bucket seats and carbon-ceramic brakes. Due to it's super-light weight consruction and output levels it's hoped the car will reach top speeds nearing 250mph!! [Wow; that's Veyron territory!] However don't start holding your breath just yet; it's not likely to be due out until 2012 and is expected to weigh in with a heafty price tag of $450,000! Still, one can always dream. Better start saving...

Clearly the person who created the artist's rendering is basising the design on current concept design cues such as the CS and Tii. In my opinion the biggest differince from the real car will be the rear end. Those gaping side scoops would serve little purpose on a front engined car unless the decided to move the radiators to the rear to balace the car out. if the chasis is as light as they imply, it may be necessary. The front intakes appear as if they may have large intercoolers on either side which would make sense.
whatever you say man.

artists rendering = photoshop

Could not help myself: the rendering proportion and perspective is pretty bad. Interesting pic none the less and would love to see a real BMW supercar.

The one thing this photoshop has going for it is the fact that they atleast made an attempt at disguising the fact that they blatantly steal images of current cars and splice them together. Still, it's ugly, distasteful, and doesn't have a chance in the world of coming into production.

I love these - the last rumored V10 supercar was a photoshopped Lamborghini Gallardo with BMW grill, now we get an Audi R8 with BMW grill. Soon we'll see a Nissan GT-R...

For what it is (a photoshop, piecing together a mix-and-match of cars), it's awesome!

But if BMW does decide to produce a true supercar; that's not it.
