The 2008/09 M3 has it's own air filter
Sorry for the thread but I want older owners to see this.
I use to own an 2011 and had a brand new filter left over after I sold. I tried to throw into my current 2008. I am surprised I didn't break the housing. I want to give special thanks to this guy for pointing out style differences. |

I had to trim down the spring loaded bit to fit my K&N filter on my 2009
