Did they remove the subframe completely or let it hang? If removed completely I can see it being more off depending on what/how they removed the front suspension from the subframe.

Get an alignment done and reset the steering angle sensor and you should be good.
Do you drop the struts with the subframe?

ya we spent one and half hour to check, everything looked fine, installed properly and tight. There was no much to play with, that's why I was so confused.

you are correct the steering shaft is splined to the rack. however, it is possible to be "a tooth off "when re-installing. it is keyed but there is room for error=off center steering wheel.....

Sorry, they didn't tell me much more as there are no much issues to be noticed but just the extra tiers wear
The steering shaft and rack are splined, yes. There is a plastic tab that locates the shaft onto the rack but you can be one spline off center when reassembling and it will slide on, but the steering wheel will be off center. That's what happened to yours. I've done hundreds of these and had this happen to me a few times. I just unbolt the shaft and adjust it and the wheel is centered.

That makes sense... the whole "Ohlins road and track aftermarket suspension" story makes no sense. And if this is the case the steering shouldn't have pulled it should of just caused an off center steering wheel, was this the case OP?

I think you may be right! I will check it again when I replace the belly pan very soon, I don't wanna make another wrong thing to cover an issue.....

Will check again very soon. Alignment did fix the Off-centered problem, I would like to see where it came from originally. I am pretty sure we checked and there wasn't much movement we could do.

I'd wonder if your subframe went back on squarely and evenly torqued. Also would check preload on sway bar and the end links. One thing I noticed when I did mine was the motor mounts were so worn the sump on the engine had been rubbing on the big aftermarket sway bar.

I didn't have to do an alignment after I did mine.
It's keyed, but not perfectly. You can be one spline tooth off and still be on the key. Yes, I know this from experience.

Literally have this exact issue. So it's not an alignment issue, but rather a steering rack re-assembly issue?

Will check back with the shop who did the work and bring this up

Any photos on what exactly the spline looks like, it seems to me after I did my bearings with the subrframe off, one tire is straight and the other is angled out a little bit, my steering wheel is also a couple degrees off.
