Here's a tough one for you, Will - is there ANY chance of ordering ANY new BMW in Kyalami Orange?

There was an interior in Kyalami, which was a deep, dark orange. The exterior color was much lighter:

I think it would be amazing on the E92 M3, much like Dakar or Laguna Seca - the color really pops!

No - I think that's a darker color. I suspect that that car has been repainted in the Lamborghini orange that you see on the Gallardo all the time.

Kyalami is lighter (not exactly like the fake 335i M3 clone), like in my post above. I would liken it to Dakar Yellow, only with a hint of orange in it. The posted 335i "M3" and the M5T in that youtube video look more like the Gallardo orange or the old 2002 "Inca Orange" color. Or the old M1 orange color.

The article claims it's Kyalami. Could be an error but I'll bet it's just the lighting making it look darker.

i had contacted my dealer to try to order a Henna Red M3
they said BMW is only offering this to 6 and 7 series cars
here is Henna Red on my old M3

Yes, definitely. Maybe those press release 335i photos have been slightly photoshopped?

I'm still looking for the elusive Z3M Coupe in Kyalami (supposedly there were only two cars that escaped the factory in Kyalami, and one was a Z3 roadster and the other was an M Coupe).

I thought BMW scrapped Hennarot partway through E30 M3 production because most people didn't like it? I didn't know you could still order it on the 6er or 7er? If that's the case, you think one could order a new car in Estoril?

yes they stopped it in mid year 88
so it was only available on the first half of 88
it wasn't popular but its worth more than all the other colours on the E30 M3 now

only about 300 M3s were made in Henna
no i meant only the 6 and 7 series can be ordered in a custom colour
i love the colour after having seen it, and owned it
