My E92 Journal
Have been on the hunt (long time) for the right E92 to come around, found this minty fresh one about 300 miles north from me in Silicon Valley. Took the day off and went to pick her up.
2011 Space Gray DCT, ZCP, all stock. The car was kept very well, zero accidents or paintwork, mostly garaged and it drives like a peach. Was looking for Alpine White with Speed Cloth interior but this will do. Best of all, it still has a transferable warranty. Win! Last edited by DanMpower; 05-10-2020 at 03:32 AM.. |

That's super clean congrats. Those two M3's are very different! Enjoy.

My only requirements for my E92 was Space Gray or Alpine White with ZCP, DCT, No NAV, Speed Cloth and under 35k miles. I got tired of searching after 3 years lol and pulled the trigger on this one. Kicking myself for not getting one sooner! Last edited by DanMpower; 09-09-2018 at 12:54 PM.. |

Nice! In an ideal world I'd have an F80 M3 or F10 M5 as the daily workhorse next to the E92 M3.

Congrats on the E92—looks like a gem! I'd love to have a coupe to sit alongside my sedan.

Thanks fellas. Took a little trip out of town a couple days ago with the wife. Very comfortable car on the highway and for long trips, I can see why some people put so many miles on these things!

Update as of 9/20 Installed M-Performance rear spoiler Installed M-Performance exhaust New OEM Floor-mats New OEM brakes and rotors all around OEM CF fabric trim installed (I disliked the factory brushed aluminum) Oil Changed with Castrol Edge TWS New OEM "M3" rear badge since the original was a tiny bit faded H&R 12MM spacers with extended bolts Removed the original paint protection film the previous owner had installed and did a full paint correction. She shines like new. Leatherique the whole interior (Great stuff btw) Upcoming to do list: Preventative rod bearing and throttle actuator service (either MRF or SSR, still researching) DCT and rear diff oil changes Spark plugs BlackVue DR900S 4k dash cam system (same setup I have in my F80) Turner or Autotecknic CF front carbon splitters (I generally dislike replicas because of fitment issues but I might go this route since they are so prone to damage) Last edited by DanMpower; 09-21-2018 at 01:32 AM.. |
