You should have told him his vette has pushrods still, and either a stick shift or what i like to call Chevy's Auto Crapmission (instead of transmission, lol.), you would think for the 80 to 100 thousand dollar car they would suck it up and offer a DCT, but nope.

With all due respect those c6 vettes are no joke when boosted, I was watching the tx2k13 vids and those boosted vettes will make an m5 look like its going backwards.. Of course I bet none of those cars were at this said meet lol

Gents...bad news...got rid of the M5 today. It was in the shop 9 times since my October delivery...now I have to wait until the Audi RS7 gets released in the US. It was a hard day but feel much better about spending my money on something I can drive...

Sorry to hear about your badluck with the M5, but nice meeting you last fall. Also curious what all issues you had with it and what's the plan while you're waiting for the RS7?

Outside of the car needing oil every 800 miles I had the brakes replaced and they continued to make a very loud squealing noise, faulty oil pump, multiple misfiring of the cyclinders which resulted in loss of car power and ability to drive. The car had to be flatbedded to the dealer several times over the course of nine months. They replaced the left driver side mirror in an attempt to stop a loud whistling noise when driving and finally software problems with the idrive that rendered it useless. I made every attempt to work with BMW on a trade but they said the car was not deemed a lemon and was in their acceptable window of problems.
The plan is to drive my Acura TL until the RS7 comes out. Already spoken to MAG and waiting for allocation! Nice meeting everyone. Made some good friends and met some good people with the car. |
