DCT changes gear at low RPM at high speed with full throttle
I have a problem with my DCT in high speeds.
Emptying the gears, and I pass 200 km/h it changes all the way up to 7 gear. This happens every time. I use my car on track, and with full throttle, it will change fine until it changes from 4th to 5th. Then it will continue changing to 6 and 7th without any increase in rpm on these gears. You can hear it her in the video. I have full throttle all the time. Se from around 1:40 It seems like there must be some signal telling the transmission to change gear. I can’t figure it out why it happens. |

Check the contacts on the paddle switches, it can be done by just removing the airbag and with 1 torx screw. Try cleaning with rubbing alcohol and maybe using dielectric grease

It could also be the little metal "ball" in the upshift paddle... search for videos for installing new paddles, and look for the metal ball step. I've read of people having similar issues due to the grease being gunked up and causing unwanted shifts. But good to do his recommendation first and check. Auto shouldn't do this, so I would try to fix it, however, I'd always use manual shifting when driving hard.
