Alpine White with a tad of blue...
Guys,
saw Curt's Santorin blue and felt - I simply have to have some of that beautiful color! Went to my wrap guy and changed earlier black bonnet/side vents and rear spoiler bits to blue. Seeing it at first it did create a bit of chock but thinking I usually need a bit of time to get used. Coming back home the family shouted - NO! So what's the verdict guys, darkening down the blue, or back to matt black? (or add more of the same on the side mirrors!) Worlds first problem... Last edited by Helmsman; 04-29-2015 at 02:58 PM.. |

I think it looks pretty cool, I feel you need a little more blue to really pull it off. Example same color brake calipers or something of that sort. If you're not looking to do that I would probably go gloss black on the hood vents and the tail so that it matches your window trim and I would do the side gill in the same color as your BMW rim caps. It would be subtle but still give that hint of blue that you love and it would be very tasteful.

I'd probably rock the carbon fiber performance spoiler instead of the light blue. I can't tell, but I think that light blue mercedes E class tint will look amazing on an alpine white car

I agree the wing would look great in Carbon, the only issue is he doesn't have any carbon anywhere else on the car. If he were to get some carbon accents I agree this would be the way to go and also agree that e class blue tint would awesome!

Looks like you found some spare/replacement parts from the junkyard. Pass.

Nik I'm always honest...straight...or whatever, so I'm really sorry man it's a no go for me .
Your car looks really good , but this is making your car looking cheap .

I actually like the side gills and can tolerate the hood vents. But the spoiler is too much and is an eye sore.
I vote to keep the side gills. It kinda matches the BMW roundel on the wheels and isnt over the top. |

Looks like you are headed to the track with blue painters tape to protect from rock chips. Or you had the entire car plastidipped, changed your mind and peeled it all off and ran out of patience with the accent pieces.
Cant pull it off with stock wheels imo, even with style 359s... |

MAYBE if you did the mirrors blue too? Otherwise, doesn't tie in well with the rest of the car.
