Fault Error Code Questions
So i recently purchased my 2011 E90 and love it. I have receipts for a new Battery purchased 6 months ago but some mornings after sitting for a few days it was hard to start and took a couple times. It brought 7 error codes and the owner stated there hasn't been issues with errors popping up. I cleared the codes and have the car on a CTEK 7002 tender now after one morning it wouldn't start. Well after it sitting on the tender and registering a full charge it started up no problem. After driving a short distance and returning home 2 error codes popped up rather then the 7. I am a noob when it comes to this stuff so bare with me lol. Thanks ahead for any help. I will list the 7 codes followed by the 2 that came up again today.
(00A834, 009C6C, 005DF4, 002B13, 0093D0, 00A2CD, 009CB50) Todays (00A834 AND 002B13) All from my Carly reader and app. Thanks Jason |

Descriptions of the codes would help, I'm not finding much on most of them, didn't really look that hard though.
2B13 is for a wheel sensor and if it came back after the battery was fully charged, then the sensor is most likely bad.

Easy solution, glad to hear! Weird though with a 6 month old battery - they hold up for years when treated properly - I'd keep an eye on possible draining, and of course keep the cars crazy consumption when not in sleep mode in mind. (e.g detailing/working on the car while opening/shut doors will keep it awake = drain).
