[Bay Area] Carbon fiber roof repair shop recommendations

Does anyone have Bay Area shop recommendations to repair the finish on a carbon fiber roof (strip existing clear/gel, prep, and re-clear)? I’ve seen socal shop recommendations, but I am not making a trip down there anytime soon. Thanks!

I’ve talked to a few shops and they’ve quoted me 3k and another around 4k. Unsure if I want to go through with it at those prices..

Hoping others can chime in with their experiences

I would contact Scott over at Premier Body Shop on martin avenue in santa clara. Phenomenol body shop, he did all the paint work on my past car which was tricoat white and is difficult to work with, he also does paintwork on a majority of my friends cars. You can give him a call and he can probably give you a rough estimate over the phone.

VT Motorworks recommended European Collision Center in SF. ECC actually got a full carbon fiber roof repair approved through my insurance vs doing a re-clear. The repair took a while but they did an excellent job. Think they’re one of only a few shops approved by BMW to do that full replacement repair, so they’ve done their fair share.
