Replacing a s65 engine
Does anyone know where you can get a rebuilt s65 engine without breaking the bank in Atlanta GA? I have a 2011 E93 M3 and the engine is knocking, it sounds like a Rod bearing.

i'm just not sure (admittedly knowing nothing about your specific spec / mileage) that it makes sense to rebuild. if it's in reasonable shape, you can probably sell it for 8-10k, and when you add the 10-15k that a clean engine install will likely run (unless you're doing it yourself, in which case -- carry on!), you're in no-story E93 land without the headache.
