MATTE "Clear Bra" Paint Protection Film?

My paint is MATTE Black, so how do I protect it?

Anyone make the material? Can't find a thing on it, anywhere.

3M/Venture says they are 'developing' one .

There already is a matte clear bra available.
Aerotect frostbite.
Longtan used it on his x5, and JoeZ used it in his IS-F.

We do. We are currently wrapping this entire CLK63 Black Series in our Satin Guard, which is a high grade 8 mils thick (compared to matte vinyl at only 2 mils) satin finish protective film.

That is so nice! How much would that set me back on a black M6? Would you even recomend this on a darker color? Or would imperfections just be too visible? thanks

If my paint is ALREADY matte (black), does it accentuate the matting look? Is it not a Venture film then? Brand please?

Here is a teaser of another project with our Satin Guard:

Again, this product is not a traditional vinyl type material. Premier Satin Guard was designed to add a satin sheet to the factory color AND also protect the paint. Traditional vinyl is only 1.5-2.5 mils thick whereas our Satin Guard is 8 mils in thickness.

I spoke with the rep at premier on a full wrap on an AW E92 M3 ... $6K to $8K (2 to 3 days to do). They have different packages as well. You should give them a call.

I'm thinking of doing the front bumper, hood, sides, and the cf roof. That's probably $3K. I worry how it looks on the panel with the wrap and the panel with out the wrap. They did say it might look shiny/reflective on a sunny day. I'll see if I can take some pictures testing out a sample when I get there this Saturday to do my tints.

That sounds a bit high. Did you speak with a rep in person? We do not quote over the phone.

Just a general strong +1 for Premier. I shopped around a lot and there are too many jokers out there who say, "yeah we do all Ferrari's" and you look at their work and it is crap. These guys do mobile work and their attention to detail is phenomenal. Prices are higher but not outrageous - like anything you get what you pay for.

Just got my tints done by premier. I asked if they can put a sample satin guard on my AW M3.

(Note: Below pic, I peeled back the bottom of the satin guard piece to get a feel, hence, the bottom has bubbles)

Usually the satin guard look sick on a gray/silver/black/blue color.

They have 3 kits for a frontal wrap:
1. Basic ($790), which include full bumper, half hood, half side fenders.
2. Standard ($890), which include basic plus headlights.
3. Custom (options to add onto basic or standard kit)
a. Full hood (+ $390)
b. Full fenders (+ $690)
c. Custom bumper (+ $290)
Total: $2160 (basic), $2260 (standard)

I asked about the CF roof and it's $450 extra. So for me it will be $2710. I hope that help some of you that are a bit further away from them. I checked out the car they were working on and I couldn't even tell one part had it and one didn't. They are pro. I recommend them with my eyes.

That looks pretty sweeet on the clk63! Any pics of it finished? On SG, would it be similar to the FG from BMW?
