BAV Sound Stage 1 review
Hey guys. See my quick little review below. Definitely a big upgrade. (Contrary to other folks I actually think the speakers are a more important upgrade than the amp, having done both).

Yeah it is definitely DIY. The convertible is a bit harder in the back seats than the coupe/sedan. Those two are quite easy. It seems intimidating at first, but then you realize it is just snapping a panel off and a couple screws

Yes. Individual = EPS = DIRAC. You can verify this on the BavSound website.
Build sheets actually refer to it as: S752A INDIVIDUAL AUDIOSYSTEM Individual audio system

I thought the individual system had very good speakers already. Does this mean the Bavsound speakers are an improvement over the OEM one?

Thanks It will cost me a lot to send it back from Australia if I don't like. Looks like they are using proper crossover and tweeters look of high quality.

I'd start with the subs. You can add the speakers later if you really need that little bit of extra. I will say that the Ghost subs with the EPS speakers is a good setup for $500 USD.

I sat in several cars with the stage 1 upgrade and couldn't find enough justification to take the leap. With the right EQ tuning, the EPS / Indiv. speakers are crisp and clear.

I have the ghost underseat subs with a 10" JL audio sub in the trunk and the stock eps for the rest of the speakers, and very satisfied with how the system sounds now.
