PBIR Track night 4/1

Anyone interested in going to the HPDE track night at PBIR on Friday 4/1? Four 30 minute stints for $225

April Fools! Nobody would actually spend money to drive PBIR. Good one.

I know PBIR is not the most exciting but it's local and 2 hours on track for under $250. Have a better option?

Personally, I'd rather just wait for an event at Homestead or Sebring. Even if it's $300 instead of $250. You'll spend a lot more than $50 in damage to your tires with those sweeping turns at PBIR.

PDG has some events coming up. PBOC doesn't seem to be doing much but has a couple, also.

Everything about PBIR is terrible. The track is terrible. Facility is terrible. No shade (I know, it's night). No good hangout areas. No paddocks. Nothing.

For $309, you get more than 2 hours. It's actually "cheaper" than the PBIR event if you consider track time, let alone all the extra wear on your tires at PBIR.

Ok, I'm sold. I've never been to Homestead and would like to check it out anyway. I have run PBIR before at a LeMons race and you are correct about the tire issue... Plus, since it is not until 5/14, maybe there will be more interest.

I live about 20 minutes from the track and I have 2 spare bedrooms, so if anyone that lives north of Miami wants to crash here the night before to make the 8am registration just let me know.

PBIR tire wear really is brutal. Plus Homestead is definitely more fun than PBIR. Once my car is back together I'll join you guys out there. Aiming for sebring with NASA end of April.

If you are wanting to go to Homestead, PDG runs a bunch of events there and put on a great event.

Homestead has the paddocks, too. So we can grab one which is good for 4+ cars, depending on how many want to come. And put up chairs and what not. Have a great time. It's an actual NASCAR facility, so it has everything. The track is WAY more fun than PBIR, too.

Let's see who would want to come for May. I think I'm available for PDG at Homestead in May. For anyone reading this, you don't HAVE to run. You can come hangout, it's free to get in and park with everyone.

Dang, I would totally be down for homestead, but I will be on vacation that weekend, and doing sebring may 20th.

If anyone wants to plan to do homestead in the back half of the year maybe a september or december date let me know. I'll plan to go. (I know it's only march but with the way this year is going September is right around the corner).

I'll be at PDG Homestead on the 14th (link in my comment above). Anyone else is more than welcome to come. You don't have to pay or drive the track to come hang out, it's free to get in.
