how is it possible that a 265/40/18 will rub in front, but a 265/35/19 will not...it makes no sense.
what offsets you use for a 9.5 in front and is it lowered? thx and what tire... |

Will a 265/35/18 rub on stock fronts? I'm thinking of running a 265/35 275/35 setup at the track on stock 18s. I ran the rear 255/40/18s on the front on my E46 with no issues.

suggestion would be to run 9.5'' F/R or 9.5/10 for a 265/275 it won't rub |

Seems folks have different results with this. I was switching my track pads out the other day, and tried a ZCP rear wheel and tire on the front, OE 265/35 tire. I’m sure that in a tight turn, with any suspension compression at all, it would rub. It was on the right front, and with the wheel turned, it was virtually touching at the vents in the fender liner at the DCT oil cooler. I don’t believe I could have gotten more than two or three sheets of paper in the gap. The ZCP wheel is 10” with 25 offset, the exact size that others report as successful. So, go figure. For street use, you would want a bit higher offset if the inside clearance permits, because it was protruding just a little outside the fender.
