ADO8 fitment question
I am considering a set of Yokohama AD08 tires for my E92 M3. In order to maintain the factory suspension rake, I would install 255/30 and 275/30. In trying to judge fitment, the front has very little clearance now with the 245/35, and I don’t know if it would rub. If anyone has experience with this application, I would appreciate your input.

245/35/19 won't ever rub. 275/30 won't rub either but IMO the sidewall is so thin it looks a bit funny to me. 295/30 looks great IMO but may cause rubbing depending on your wheel setup in the rear.

I'm running 285/30 r18s all the way around with no rubbing (5mm spacer in front 10mm back) on VMR 10inch rims. These are my track wheels and I'm not having any rubbing.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree, the sidewall on 30 profile tires is too thin, as are 35 too, in my opinion. But, I guess we’re paying the price for a population that prefers bling over performance. If I was still doing a lot of track stuff, I would get a set of 18” wheels and use 40 series tires. Regarding spacers, without running a lot more camber than I want in a primarily street-driven car, any tire much wider than a 255 is going to be too close, if not outside the wheel opening, something else I want to avoid on a street car. I expect I’ll end up going with the RE-11, which is offered in the OE sizes.

I run the AD08s in 265 on a 19x9et22 and 295 on a 19x10et22. Front clears fine. Rear had some rubbing initially but that went away once the liner wore down.

Just got Forgelines ZX3R's with 265 front and 295 rear ADO8's and so far no rubbing. Julius @ WSTO set me up with them and the offsets are such that not supposed to be any rubbing. I will post pics when I get a chance. everybody that has seen them really like them.
