I'm thinking it could be a driveshaft starting to go. I just replaced mine at 29k with a carbon fiber one from M factory. When I inspected the old one it had started to sling grease out of the Universal joint and there was a noticeable clunk when moved by hand out of it. The carbon fiber driveshaft took away a lot of the issues of the clunk as well as made the acceleration almost instant. Just my two cents...

I paid $1300 pre-order. I saw one for sale on the forums for $1100 which is a great deal. Check with Mfactory by sending them a PM for up to date pricing.

I wonder if this may be a throttle actuator issue? The increased emissions can be a warning amongst many others when TA's start to go. I was getting many warnings that you wouldn't associate with TA's offhand and towards the end they became more frequent and more numerous in total messages. The part of the throttle gear that tends to wear is that very beginning part of throttle application. This could cause shitty jerky acceleration from a stop (reverse and forward in 1st). If you have 2 hours you could remove TA's and open to inspect gears. I have a couple posts with pictures for example if you look around.

For anyone looking at this thread, check the DCT checkball as well as the battery health.
