Great story
So I took out the M yesterday and was having a hell of a drive when I realized in my rear view that they where flashing lights behind. Mind you when I was younger I racked up a ton points.. So my driving record isn\'t the best. Well anyway I pull over and began to completely shit bricks. I was on the highway and I was doing about 90. Well moments before seeing this cop I slowed down to about 30 it was late at night and gunned the car. The cop comes to my door and has smirk on his face. He ask me for the usual things and proceeds to talk to me.\" I just ordered on of these things and I was wondering if that\'s how the car sounds stock or do you have mods.\" I told him bare bone stock. Then proceeds to tell me he now cant wait too get his... I ask when did you order the vehicle he says about 3 weeks ago production starts early January... Tells me to have a nice night and let\'s me go.
Never ever thought in my wildest dreams my m3 would get me out of a tickets. Lol |

It's not. That gets beaten out of you by the culture and it takes years to get it back.

I like it too ....
reminded me of this; Highway patrol man is hiding behind this big old oak tree with his radar gun stops this nice lady in her spanking brand new M3 as she approaches him with his radar gun firmly in his right hand ... as the lady rolls down her window the conversation goes something like this ... Highway Patrolman: "Lady I've been waiting for you all day" Lady: "Officer I'm sorry I came as fast as I could" Highway Patrolman ... he then stopped and told her to go ... no ticket for he was still all and had no steady hands to write a ticket.

I'm sure there are a few Policeman members of this forum ... my neighbour a few housed down is a Policeman and will trade his GT in next year for a e92 before the end of production ... then Mark was a Policeman, now retired sold his M3 week before last (member name Mark's M).
So I think there are more then 1 or 2 here for in the end we all love the ///M

Not being critical but props to a cop who can afford to order a brand new m3-we pay cops like shit and they deserve so much more. Yet its really tough in most big cities to get on the force so I guess from a govt issue, its no point paying them more when they already have more of a interest than they can provide jobs for.
Glad to see coppers can afford to enjoy some of the cars they always have to deal with as thorns in their side! So many douche bags driving m3's, evo's, gtr's and many others. The corvette owners seem to be the most subdued and atleast in american, ferrari owners always drive slowly. Lambo owners seem to be more wild and drive the shit out of things. Must get old as a cop to pull nice cars over and then drive back home later in their 93 chev trailblazer. Great to see! and great story! |
