AWRON Display

So I've had this gauge installed in my car for about 3yrs now. I was gone for a year (deployed in the middle east) and the car was in storage for the most part except when my sister would take it out to drive it around and wash and clean it. When I got back I noticed that there are multiple dead pixels in the display?

Has anyone else had issues with dead pixels in the display? I wouldn't think the display would start degrading within 3yrs of use?

Bought a used one and has a few dead pixels but nothing that makes it unreadable
