Addicted to e85

I'm addicted to corn and don't know if that is normal or what to do about it. I know I should take every other week off...but it's sooo good. Anybody else? Posted here instead of the N55 mod section because I figured I'd get more colorful responses and this forum cross references people from the 1,2,5 and e90 sections (many of whom are e85 users) so I might get broader responses. I just love that jumpy, ready to take off feeling and knowing if an M-car wants at it they are going to get it.

You dont need to switch that much between regular and e85. Unless you are driving a ton.

once every 6 or so fill ups is plenty.

But yes, e85 is great

there is no reason to switch back and forth. If anything you would just be confusing your adaptations

Right. I have read of reports of deposits on the injectors from long term use...which clear up from using a tank of just pump (even though this is 10%).

This is generally the accepted consequences of e85. Gunked up injectors that you can clear up with a tank of pump gas and maybe injector cleaner if you really want.

That offer is for random encounters. Pre-orders will get 105 octane racing fuel and Map 7.

i too am addicted to e85. i find myself going out of my way to get to an e85 station.

but question...do i still need to run a full tank of plain pump every so often if i only add a few gallons of e85 to my tank mix? usually 3-4 gallons is what I add...sometimes less

I did corn back in 08 in my Evo. 9 mpg Lolol. But then now I'm about 12mpg on 91.

I stacked up on about 30 gallons at a time and just stored in my garage.
