Yep, all the ones that I have seen in person have the carbon leather finish. It does look nice but not quite CF IMO.

Quite honestly the cf leather trim is so tacky for BMW standards. I guess it was due to cost and carbon supplier issues.
They should have made it real cf like the M6 trim.

Looking at it up close from those big pictures above I am actually disappointed in the looks. It actually looks kinda tacky but hopefully some after market company will do the trim in real carbon fiber.

I'm already looking to see who will be the first to make the CF for the interior. It really shouldn't be long at all!!!

When I see it in person upon delivery I guess I'll decide how fast I want to change it. In the mean time you're right companies are prob working on it as we type.

I have to disagree with those not liking the CF leather. I think the CF leather trim looks classy. IMHO, real carbon fiber is now looking ricey. To each his own, I suppose.

I agree. It's nice to have something soft to the touch on the interior where there normally wouldn't be.

Quite honestly, it's good that everyone has different tastes on how they like there car. It would be boring if everyone wanted their car configured the same way.

No kidding. Can you imagine endless threads of the same car? It's great to have options. Even the base car is quite a ride, I would imagine.

Yeh and at the meets it will be much better to see different colors and options on the same car. I can't wait to go on the meets with other members with the E92 M3.

+2 I might have the most unpopular of them all, SSII/Black Novillo/Sycamore Anthracite wood with a moon roof, but hey that's what I wanted.

I have to take back my +1 and give it a +1 - maybe. I just saw AW & JB coupes IRL. With the carbon roof, real carbon in the interior would be awesome. I have only been interested in the sedan or vert which do not have the roof. For both of them, the CL looks nice since it is softer and more elegant the real carbon fiber. The roof looks incredible on the E92 and carbon fiber inside would be a great addition. I liked the AW E92 so much I now am leaning towards an E92 as my order choice.
