A couple of thoughts here:

1. Has anyone tried using any kind of exhaust wrap? Will this deaden the droning at all?

2. Has anyone tried just cutting out the secondary cats in the stock x-pipe and welding in some resonators (in combo with a slip on?). This essentially gives you a 4-resonator "street" x-pipe.

Thanks for the inputs guys. Any modification that I can do to my current setup to lower the drone? Don't really want to buy a new exhaust.
