anyone miss the upper back adjustment of a comfort seat?

I used to have sweet comfort seats in a 5 series and sure enjoyed the upper back articulation having adjustability in the forward or backward direction. Anyone else miss this

I know what you mean... but after DDing a Civic for my 60 mile roundtrip commute usually I am glad to get in my M3 seats. I love the headrest on the M3...

No. I find the seats in the M3 very comfortable with the current adjustments. This extra adjustment on a sport seat sounds like it would just add more weight to an already heavy seat.

Yep but you can't have everything. My 550i was quick but it didn't go like stink.

I've had 550, X5 and X6 all with comfort seats...I'm the biggest comfort seat fan on the planet due to a chronically bad lower back. I also LOVE a heated steering wheel.

But I wouldn't give-up my E92 M3 for em..I think the seats in our cars is pretty damn comfortable! Couldn't say the same for my E46 M3 though..

Did I get ripped off? I thought I got every option on my 2011 E90 however I don't have power seats. The flank and lumbar support is power however the rest is manual. Does everyone else have this or did I get duped?

The seats in the E9x M3 are great but the headrest on my '11 E90 does not adjust forwards, only up and down. I believe the older E9x M3's tilted forwards if requiered - i wish mine could do this as the headrest is set too far back for my preffered driving position.

I intentionally got manual seats with cloth....don't want to slide around in leather on the track....cloth makes a huge difference. But if you got the Premium Pckg you would have power seats.

I didn't want the weight of power seats.....yes, not a lot of savings, but I don't need to adjust the seat much and the manual controls work GREAT.

Cheers,

No but you didn't get the premium package, and no leather either. Didn't the navigation package require premium?

No offense, but almost every thread you post seens to be negative in reference to the car. Seats, steering, etc. Maybe this isn't the car for you. No, it's not perfect by any means, but no one is trying to pretend that it is. Enjoy it for what's it's worth, and forget about missing the comfort seats, or the sublime steering feel of whatever it was that had sublime steering feel. go WOT, hear the intake roar, and you'll have an ear-to-ear grin for the rest of the day.

I absolutely love the car but just was thinking about a few features I miss that were on past bmws. BMW's comfort seats with the adjustable side bolsters and upper back was the only car out there with upper back adjustment. It was great and would be great in the m3. Does not mean I do not like the m3 because there is a feature or two that are not available
