Anybody with ZCP package get postponed? I was moved to build week 10 and now the last two weeks it says scheduled for build with no date. I called the dealer and her said that the car has been moved back with now new date.

Where does it say that this is available on any M3? I thought it was only available on a non-M sport 335.

Thanks for the replies. I just talked to the dealer and I am now back to production week of 3/22/2010.

Hopefully, it goes as planned!

I am apparently the only one on the forum that got on the last boat that left Germany... At least of the people who track their cars...

Weird.

My car just finished production on 17 March and is awaiting transport. Any guesses on when that would hit the dealer on the east coast?

Dumb question ahead...Is there something I am not understanding about this thread? As I read it I understand that many of you have ordered 2011 M3's that will be arriving in your hands starting in mid April. When I brought this up to my dealer (who was, of course, trying to sell me a 2010 and knows as much about BMW's as my four year old) he told me authoritatively that 2011 M3's won't hit the U.S. until October. Before I assert my knowledge I thought I'd check with you "in the know" so I don't end up with a tasty foot in my mouth.

Your dealer is not very knowledgeable. The 2011 models are hitting earlier than normal this year. They will be in the dealer lot starting mid-April (or earlier based on info from this thread). You could even place order for MY2011s since late Jan.

BMW 800# just says the order has been placed, if I go on-line and enter my production number it shows the car as a white 2011 328 convertible, which is not what I ordered. Mind you, this was 5hrs after the order was placed.

According to the dealer; I got a place "in line" last week, we placed the order yesterday (3-18) when I paid the rest of my deposit.

I was quoted Mid-May to first week of June, but I don't think they really had a clue.

I figure I'll give it until next week and then ask for a VIN.

Had the same thing happen a few years back when I ordered my 330i. They have an allocation of a car they ordered that can be modified any time before it actually goes into production. You won't see that change for a little while, the system takes some time to reflect the new status. I also found that the online status lagged behind the actual disposition of the car. It is far from real time.

the X5 ///M has heated steering wheel and it is the same exact one like our
M3. I figured since they share the same steering wheel then they should at least offer it on the M3.
