VDC and speed sensor

Before the forum police come pad their post count, I searched to no avail. So here's my questions.

1. On the 350Z, we had to maintain a 2-3% diameter difference between the front and rear tires, or it would cause problems with the VDC. I'm assuming this goes for the M3 also, but does anyone know the point at which the ratio diameter front to rear will cause problems with the VDC on the M?

2 As far is the speedometer is concerned, what wheel/wheels is the speed sensor getting its information from? This way I can choose which wheels are the most important when it comes to not changing overall diameter.
