BMW OEM Stainless Steel Pedal Kit

I can't believe that these pedals come standard on 2011 335is and no options to even upgrade on an M3 that costs a ton more. They even call the pedals M style stainless steel. Even the perforated M steering wheel is pretty nice. I would change the top part of the accelerator and brake pedals if it is going to work. My dealer is working on a solution. They are going to order one to see if it would work. I'll keep you posted. But if anyone has tested it, I would really appreciate some more info and maybe a photo demo.

I wonder what's so different about the new M3 DCT?

On another note: Anyone know if 2011 M3 conv is going to have any changes/upgrades on idrive functionality?

IT IS a cover; just look at it. Looks like crap. They just slapped/glued the cover to a stock pedal assembly. This is the first OEM part that looks tacked on. They should have made the darn cover with the same contour as the pedal, including the lower left curvy edge. Plus the pedals look like they belong to an Avalon, not an M3, but that's just me.

Those pedals look like cr@p IMO. i'd say get the BMW steel pedal covers or better yet one of the aftermarket ones which look even better.
