Aeuroplug or Pom Performance?

Looking to pick up a new lip. Anyone have any input on fit and quality? They're both similar priced. Digging the GT4 style one. Thanks!

I order the gts1 from Pom performance, not happy at all with the quality or fitment. If I could do it again I would of saved a bit more and went with a better brand. They come from a Taiwan company and are not a true carbon piece, its just a carbon fiber overlay just over the exposed area, the lip is created with fiberglass, you can actually see how thin it is, daylight comes through the carbon fiber...

For the price Pom is fine. Why would you spend more money of something you might break? Doesn't make sense to me.

Front lips are disposable items

I have the POM and for the price I would buy it again. Don’t waste your money on a lip that’s gonna get trashed anyways. As you can see mine fits just fine. Is it top of the line, No it’s not but least it won’t crush me if I break it.

I bought Aeuroplug side skirt extensions and for the price I paid I am pleased with the quality of the part. The fitment was excellent. While it's not a front lip, thought it would be valuable input on general fit/finish on a brand you're considering.

I get that pom is on the cheaper end, but there quality and fitment is the same as eBay brands. Less than 2 weeks on my car this pos already cracked, getting in my drive way, as slow as I can go it barely touched and cracked. Product is so thin and made very cheaply the moment it touches something it’s guaranteed it will shatter like glass.
Can anyone with a mode carbon out there comment on there durability? They seem nicely made.

From what I hear mode carbon lips are much more durable.

Disposable only if you can't drive or get very unlucky.

Well... my wife surprised me with a Pom GT4 lip as an early Father's Day gift, but FedEx chose to ignore the fragile sign and it seems like they stacked boxes on top of it in the shipping truck. So... part of the lip arrived cracked. Pom was able to respond right away, but now I gotta wait another 4-5 weeks for another one and somehow find the time to ship the cracked one back through FedEx.

That sucks. They did the same thing to my pom GTS1 lip a couple months ago. Huge gaping slash/hole in the box, but I was lucky only the rear non-visible part of the lip that mates to the bumper got a small crack so I used it anyways. The fragile stickers were enormous too. Not sure how they missed them.

I've had many different lips and they all break in the end. Here's the thing, they aren't supposed to touch anything or they break/scratch/chip. That being said I've gone with POM performance for 4 in a row now. Why would I pay >$1200 for something that will get crushed in the long run?: fitment on the POM is as easy as using clamps to locate the final resting place on the bumper and then mounting.

Just got my Mode Carbon GTS lip and its much more thicker, but light as well. My Mode Carbon GT4 lip was a tank. I'm on my 4th lip so I'm hoping this one will last.

Looks great, is that the GTS lip? I'm trying to decide between the CH and AK lips.

How was installation? Is it predrilled?

TIA

Pom Performance to RW Carbon

Purchased a replacement front lip from RW Carbon.
Previous front lip from PP; destroyed by hwy debris.
Attempted to repurchase, but those guys do not respond to txt, email, IMs...shi**ty customer service even for returning customer

With RWC, it's great to actually see front lip models in-stock, in-person [getting more rare for >10 yrs old vehicle].

Quality appears good for the price, final judgement once fitted.

Appreciated the awesome customer service from Cole...timely responses to email request, then finally in-person at the shop.

That said, likely to purchase more RW bits.

I had the Aeuroplug GTS V2 lip and fitment was so-so but not unexpected for a $300 lip. Looked good once I finessed it on the car but it was never perfect. It also exploded on the highway a few weeks ago and I had repaired it a few times from rogue rodents and general road abuse. For the amount of miles I put on it's worth $300 vs risking damage to a something 2x-4x more expensive.
