I'm not sure, I bought through ECS yesterday and didn't see any mention of a template but you could be right, I might call my nearest dealer and see if they have anything.

Thank you for the offer, if you happen to be tinkering around on the car and get one I'd love it but don't feel like you need to go out your way!

Use a heat gun at distance to make sure you don't get the paint too hot. The badge then comes off easily. I use a trim tool to just pry them.off
