APEX Wheels 18x9.5f+22 18x10.5r +27 fitment
Hi fellow members,
I have been thinking about getting either Apex ARC8 or APEX EC7 for awhile now for my AW E92 M3, but I could not make up my mind about which one to get and which spec. I know that 18x10 +25 18x11 +25 would fit flush with the fenders depends on my camber spec and tires. I am thinking about running 265/35/18f and 295/30/18r. I really want to run the ARC8s since they are lighter and I do not need the clearance for the BBK that EC7s offer since I will not be tracking. Just some spirited driving around the mountains. The best scenario is if the ARC8 will come out with 18x10 +25 but I don't think that will happen anytime soon. I wonder if any of you have pictures of your car running Apex wheels or any wheels with 18x9.5 +22 and 18x10.5 +27 with 265/35/18f and 295/30/18r or even 285/35/18r? I am more concerned with the rear fitment because I have seen a lot of pictures of E92 running that spec (althought not pictures from bird eyes view if you know what I mean) that seems like the wheels and tires are tucking in a bit. Much help would be greatly appreciated. By the way, I am not lowered, but I will consider coilovers in the future or might get them the same time when I get the wheels. Thank you. |

All of the potential setups you mentioned will fit fine, you may potentially want a small rear spacer depending on the look you are trying to achieve.
I'm running 18x10/11 +25 with 275/35 and 295/35. Flush fitment without spacers. Checkout my build thread for pics. Apex does make a 18x10 +25 ARC8... unless you're saying that it's out of stock?

Oh gotcha. Looks like they just released their forged wheels, so maybe you should look into those as well!

M3gang, We would be more than happy to offer some guidance here! If you are looking for a staggered fitment for street use, we do have a number of options. The most popular staggered fitment we recommend would be as follows: Front: 18x9.5" ET22 with 265/35-18 tires Rear: 18x10.5" ET22 or ET27 with 285/35-18 tires
I have included a few photos of this fitment below: If you are looking something a bit more aggressive, we do offer the following: Front: 18x10" ET25 with 275/35-18 tires Rear: 18x11" ET25 with 295/35-18 tires
Flickr I hope this helps! - Max
