Love the willingness to explore / test ideas!
Maybe the audio is harder to distinguish in video, but in person the sound is a lot smoother with much less rasp and rattling noise from the catless exhaust.
Have you tried a quad resonated xpipe with the valves system? Or putting resonators in the forward cat position?

I have done quad resonated before and it sounds deeper and boomier but no rasp at all. I ended up changing it because I missed the higher pitch tone.

The video you posted 2 days ago, that's the finished product? Welded double X? That sounds awesome man!

Kudos

Thumbs up

I like your car and how you keep trying new mods on it.

Must be really fun with the top down!

Yea it's all welded in now. Looks the same as the video but the flex pipe is replaced with steel 2.5" piping from the muffler shop.

Nice mod. I want a higher pitched exhaust as well and thought about moving the stock X portion further up. Doing so would require new tabs to be welded for the center exhaust bracket. So I had this same exact idea of adding another X about a week ago, I'm glad someone already did it

I plan on probably end up cutting out just the portion with the secondary cats and x section, flipping it 180 degrees and rewelding it back together so the x is closer to the front and the secondary cats and behind the X instead of in front. Unfortunately, I don't think my harbor freight welder is up to the task so it will have to wait

Or I'll just wait for an aftermarket X pipe with the X already close to the front.

Sounds like a great plan 👍. Excited to hear other people try a similar setup for comparison. Since I flipped my old X pipe I had to make my own bracket extension for the center mount.

Anyone tried double H midpipe setup? If considering MPE also H-type then even triple H exhaust setup.
Front H w/o rear X will be opposite to high pitch.

Dyno still pending since I am waiting for the glass carbon plenum from EAE to arrive. Hopefully in a few weeks.

I also want to announce that I am collaborating with ZenRage Exhaust to make my exact full setup available to purchase. There will be only 20 made (13 stainless and 7 titanium). More information will come as soon as it is made and I will provide a hefty discount code for those who are interested. Thanks for your patience.

Should sell the titanium x pipe separately from the exhaust.

That sounds nuts. Like it's got a supercharger or something.
