Josh, is this just the axle-back, or with the mid-pipes and primary cat delete? Sounds amazing!

It's the full system. No tune needed, No CEL light.

How the hell did RPI pull this off? I thought a tune was mandatory if you pulled the primary cats. Whatever they did, I am amazed and I am sure this setup is making CRAZY power (it only makes sense that it does).

So how exactly would you describe the tone? Does it sound like an American V8? Or do you KNOW its an M3 or german sports car...? You can never tell through videos thats why Im asking..

Either way, I am 99% positive this is the exhaust for me. Any closeup shots of the tips PLEASE? I am dying to see how far they stick out with the diffuser in place!

What up Tightie! We met at RPI on Saturday and you let me drive your car. I'm the dude w the AW M3.
To all members...I can vouch for everything Tightie is saying. The exhaust is amazing! Definitely a noticeable difference in added power and it sounds disgusting! I'll be placing my order soon. Just wanna give a shout out to you all of you I met at RPI. You all are cool cats! Great job on producing such an amazing exhuast system!

no cel because you still retain the factory o2 sensors. if you look at the pic of the system you can see where the o2 sensors mount

True, but the rear O2 sensors are no longer sniffing post cat O2 levels. The ECU most likely will eventually code as the O2 reading will be off the table.

from what i saw on my car the o2 sensors mount on the cat not after, so o2 sensors emissions shouldnt be totally off.

There are 2 sets on each cat. Before and after. So the computer can sniff what is going on...

So do you guys think eventually the car CEL will come on? I hope not, but if it does it will give us more of a reason to tune the beast and pull even more power. I would prefer to hold off on a tune though..... Hopefully it doesnt come on Im sure tightie will keep up posted

Check the picture out. Note the O2 bung before the cat and the bung you can faintly see after the cat. This is the stock system.

http://www.m3post.com/forums/attachm...1&d=1234652392

Another clearer pic of the stock cats. Look at the right side cat.

http://www.m3post.com/forums/attachm...1&d=1235401702

Here is a pic of the AA High Flow Cat. Note the O2 positions. Same as stock.

It's raining?

Edit: Just looked outside, you are right

Tips look aggressive, any way we could get pics of the rear from some more distance?
