who is still on original rod bearings?
Pulled the trigger recently and bought a high mile '08 E93 M3... didn't not see any service or engine issues on the records so i'd imagine it still on the original bearings. reading some of the treads am curious how many out there are still on original ones , miles?

Most of the people on here will be on original bearings.
Even some of the higher millage folks. I did get mine done, although they didn't end up looking THAT bad... But not the best for ~50K miles. |

No conclusive results on what's actually causing the problems or what the best long-term solution is yet...

Got 51K miles on my 2009 on original bearings. I've switched to M1 0W40 since 43K and have been monitoring my lead count on blackstone reports. I'm changing my oil every 4K miles to play it safe.

Got my '08 e92 M3 in January with 67k on odometer. According to Carfax, it had been religiously serviced at BMW dealerships. Now at 70k, did trans, different and brake fluid change and LubriMoly 0w-60. Still on original bearings with no noise. Considering have bearings done proactively for peace of mind @80-85k.
