I think I'm having battery issues of some sort. My radar detector shows the voltage and lately its been around 14.8V to 15.1V, the battery was replaced a few months ago. Whenever the voltage does spike to 15.1 I get a right daytime running lamp malfunction which goes away as soon as it also appears.

I know the radar detector isn't 100% accurate either. Its usually +/- .1V - .3V but Carly and the hidden gauge cluster showed the same.

The car was on the tender for the past few months. I'm just wondering if my battery is somehow prematurely failing already or its something else. The voltage does go down once I start driving and usually after 15-20 minutes its back to 13.8V-14.0V. I've never seen the voltage go past 14.5V even with my old battery.

Yes, that's also a huge plus. This kit reuses the stock struts/shocks
thanks for your feedback

IIRC, the Castrol SAF-XJ is what BMW specified before they starting selling their own unicorn tears...

Cheers,
Supposedly the previous owner put in thicker diff fluid in the diff. I wonder if it was this redline. It does seem to make noise.

Washed it on the weekend. Goes for correction and coating on march 10th. Decided to just let the bumper be for now and not shave the reflectors and respray.

Apex EC-7 19x10 and 19x10.5

Was on car when I got them. Love the look and color but would have gone with different size if I bought new. These are the gray/gun metal. They also come in silver and black.

Removed all of the wiring/control module for the Harrop SC. At this point I'm at like 99% of the kit removed. One more final once over and it's time to put this car back together in slow mode.

Drove to the office and then to get a haircut, then home.

When I arrived, a box with a MS engine air filter and 8 NGK spark plugs was waiting for me. Those parts will be installed/maintenanced this weekend along with an oil change.

Sprayed my iND red start button with matte clear coat and then hit it with a magic eraser for a little polish. Also painted (black) and matte cleared the black bezel ring, as mine was just starting to show signs of wear. Came out okay but I think the colored buttons look best with the all-silver pre-LCI bezels, so I ordered one.

Looks nice either way. Also, I think you've posted it before but who did your steering wheel alcantara?

Thanks. It's an OE M Performance Wheel. But I'm tiring of alcantara so thinking about having LedermanZ wrap it in black napa leather.

I have another weird issue with the car. If I'm at a standstill and I turn the wheel I get this creaking noise. My first fix was putting white lithium grease at the steering column joint in the driver foot well. It made the steering super sensitive lol but it fixed the issue. I go for a drive and the sound comes back. I'm wondering if its suspension related at this point.

Hmm. Possibly but I'm not that mechanically inclined to tell. I'll ask the shop tomorrow doing the brake fluid flush.

Nope, just 10mm red gaffers tape myself! It looks great except it covers the stitching on the bottom (as does iND’s paint). Red leather stitched in will also make a LZ rewrap look finished.
