New Member introducing myself after a lemoned 135i. PICS

So BMW lemoned my 135i 2 weeks ago. I had issues with the adaptive headlights, the turbo wastegate, the HPFP, and numerous other issues. BMW was awesome about it. Seeing that I had issues with my car on 1addicts.com, they PMed me to initiate a buyback which I never even considered. Within 2 weeks of them contacting me I already found an 08 E93 with factory warranty speced out the way I wanted (minus the 18 inch chromies). I got an awesome deal on the car and had to jump on it. I had a set of VMR wheels from Jurrian at EAS waiting for the car to be delivered because the stock chromes were so ugly. It came on a flatbed yesterday at 6AM. It was a good morning. On to the pics!

Here are the hideous chromies:

Next is a set of springs, body colored side reflectors, blacked out grilles, and short shifter.

Congrats and it's good to see BMW actually watching to boards and doing the right thing.

Did you go to Brecht to get the car from NorCal?

The wheels are a huge improvement. You might as well black out the side gills too.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

I negotiated a deal with them over the internet and they shipped the car up to me. They were great to deal with.

Congrats! Nice upgrade. Please share your thoughts on the driving experience between the 135 and M3.
Hate to say it because i truly dislike chrome, but the chrome 18's really dont look that bad on the e93, can actually see the design of the 18's better and it matches the chrome window trim.

The 135i's ride actually felt harsher to me with the runflats. I've only put about 40 miles on the car so far so I'm still getting to know the E93. If there was a way for me to get rid of the chrome around the windows, I would. haha

Kind of ironic that the sign in your 135i picture says "Dumping Prohibited."

Zoominrex, congrats, and I remember your vehicle. Bunch of members had photos of their rides on one of the thread. I hate to see that car go like that. But hey, you have something 10x more aggressive.

Not usually a fan of chrome wheels but I have to say the 18's chromed is a very interesting take.
