Hoosier R6 on 2011 E90 M3
Does anyone here run Hoosier R6's on their E90 M3's at the track and what cold and hot pressure do you feel is best? The Hoosier people suggest I run 34 front and 32 back as a starting cold pressure looking for another 8 to 10 on top of this for an ideal hot pressure. Seems kind of high to me. Looking for experienced advise......

I ran 26 cold on my E36, and mid 30's hot, but it weighed 1000lb less and had more camber. |

Hoosier guide calls for in the neighborhood of 38-40 hot depending on alignment, tire, track, car, etc. no substitute for a pyrometer. They know their tires well

In my soon to be former e36 race car (IP and IS trims) I would start the R6 at 30-31 cold and shoot for 38-40 hot.
Next season when I start tracking the e90, I will use those temps as my starting point and adjust from there. |

I ran BFG Gforce R1s and 32/34 was where I started cold, looking for 40 something hot. Summer, I would try and hold around 42, winter, or cooler weather, 40 seemed to work best.

Where I start with 30psi cold in my E46, I'm going down to 28psi cold on my E90 in similar morning temps. That puts me at 38psi cold on street tires.
It was about the same with the conti scrubs and R6s when I used them.
