Imagine the beatings that car has taken. They got every dollar out of it. Someone should jump on it.

I had been looking at a 6 owner, 4 accident (totaled on the title) an error on the mileage by a mechanic shop so it has the appearance of a rollback. Has a donor engine as the motor blew from bearings. Car drives perfectly and nothing looked out of whack. $15k.

so the engine on this car is way under 175k that's a pretty good buy for that cheap!!! I wonder what it looked like after they totaled it!

No idea. Saw it on CL, met up with him for shits and giggles, car drove great, felt strong. Car had 108k on it. He said donor motor was around 60k. Asking $18,900. I mentioned $15k and eventually he had a buyer at $16k. Which I was happy for him. I don't recall if there were photos online from a vin search. I was a bit worried as I can't imagine any vehicle having four accidents didn't have a fatality. And I imagined that if that car were ever in an accident again... 2009 Alpine white over Fox Red, DCT, no Nav, coilovers, exhaust, side skirts.

Thanks OP for posting this link. I was literally looking for a beat up (High miles, Any title) used m3 for to use solely for a "test car". I'm in the process of developing some goodies for our cars but can't afford to continue to use my car as a test car. My m3 had been down for almost 2 months while I was testing TA'S to ensure they are in working condition on the road.

I sent the owner an email. Let's see where this takes me. I'll keep you guys posted.

This truly is an amazing Carfax. Worth the $5 that I paid love67 to run it for me. Free plug for Nick, great Carfax service.

Car is back for sale: https://washingtondc.craigslist.org/...652523042.html

Also an M3 in New York: https://newjersey.craigslist.org/cto...653543736.html

But the problem is the NY phone number is wrong... I've tried contacting both of them and neither has gotten back to me. I would be interested in either of them, but no one wants to respond to my inquiries...

There seem to be ones on autotrader for 16-17 with much better history. Seems hard to consider this when better options around for not much more...

But I guess at this price point that is 30-40% more money

Salvage ones are fetch 10-12k it seems, too. Long live depreciation!
