I can see what you mean, slicer. Those teams want every advantage and they don't have the time for anxiety from questionable quality.

Oh no, I realize most GT4 drivers are rich guys or sons of rich guys with minimal interest in the mechanical details. It's the teams that are hired to care about that

And didn't you start this thread?? Shoot I went through the trouble of buying the wheels, test fitting, determining alignment / suspension setup needs, discovering the back pad thickness, coming up with a solution... shared my findings. Stop busting my balls already

Unique Wheel Property -
This wheel has a back pad that is 15mm thicker than anything that I have seen. As a result, the stud required is at least 15mm longer than typical. There is no stud currently on the market that will accommodate this wheel with a 12mm spacer. BMW's own GT4 studs are designed to accommodate a 32mm spacer - yes you read that correctly - BMW is using a 32mm front spacer on the M4GT4! I am not sure why the wheel was built with that spec but my assumption is that it's due to strength requirements. As a result, we are working with MSI (leading stud manufacturer) to create a custom stud length for this wheel.

How much camber did you have to run up front? I have ohlins DT and am wondering if I would need a bigger or smaller spacer and trying to gauge how much camber I’d need

Probably about -3.5. I honestly don't recommend these wheels unless you have someone make you custom studs. Last I checked there's nothing available off the shelf that's long enough to use them with a 12mm spacer and full thread engagement.

It needs to be 96mm total for the stud?

addressed in post #57. Total stud length is somewhat immaterial as at could have a shorter or longer bullet head. The amount of threads is the important measure.

Hi, Slicer where did you get the aluminum spring perch and lock collar for your clubsports? Looks like those save a ton of room over the kw plastic perches!
