What service should I do asap
I just purchased a 2009 E90 with 125,000 miles. It already has the rod bearings and the throttle actuators replaced. I was just wondering what other services I should do. I already purchased liquidmolly 10 W 60 but let me know on other things.

Diff oil, cabin filters. Any history on the spark plugs? Interval is 38k, but these cars appreciate them about every 20k.

If it's not been done recently, might be a good idea to do a full round of fluid flush - brake, diff, transmission, power steering, and coolant. Check for leaks while you're at it. At that mileage, some may start to appear. Other than the RBs, there's not much else that can kill the S65 V8, so just enjoy the car.

One thing I found that needed doing on my 80k mile E92 M3 was spark plugs (and two coil packs).
I wouldn't replace the coil packs unless they've failed or they're going out. It's one of the most expensive parts on the s65 comparatively, even to Porsche. |
