There was no damage but there was a footprint on the hood which pissed me off.

Yuck.

They also say they need 5" ground clearance. I think the little felt things on the front bumper may be ~4.5". Did you have any issues with ride height?

Open Road Auto Group just announced they'll be hosting a track experience event at Area 27 July 17 and July 19. Much better time to go than in October.

They're taking sign up to gauge interest. Pricey though. Although they don't cheap out hosting based on previous Open Road events that I been to.

Now, I also need to get the winter tires off the Volvo and Subaru as the studs are embarrassing...

Fun!

When you want to do some exploring and a short weekend trip, make drive to Tofino. The Pacific Rim highway between Parksville and Tofino/Ucluelet is really fun. Plus there are lots of sight to stop for along the way. Also Tofino is a cool town to checkout, lots of nice restaurants and stuff to do there. My wife and I usually go there once or twice every year.

Tofino is wonderful... also if you want some nice straight stretches the drove to lake Cowichan is wonderful.

Car showed up. No major damage to the body - so that is good.

I think a strap fooked up one of my wheel speed sensors on the rear. Since I do not have any tools here, I have to actually take it to a garage...

Oh well, it is a fun car on some of these nice twisty roads!!

Now, to go through ICBI etc... bleh.

Congrats on the move and getting your M3 safely there. After visiting BC for the first time last summer, my GF and I began asking ourselves: "what are we doing in Ontario"? The province offers the best of both worlds - blissful scenery and wilderness coupled with a great city (Vancouver at least).

I can only imagine the amount of fun you'll have discovering all the great driving roads there .

Me and my 26' U-Haul (which actually uses more fuel than my M3) will be back in Victoria tomorrow night. Hopefully I can bomb out for a bit on Sunday. What time will it be at?

Sorry to resurrect this, but I just picked up my e92 last month and have lived in vic for about a year and a half now. Such an awesome place. If anyone feels like going for drive or having a few ms meet for a mini cars and coffee pm me!

I've also heard good things about VCM and plan to head there this week since I think my FBV is toast.

Mark (at VCM) is fantastic. They JUST did my rod bearings. When I came to pick up my car he wanted to know all about the M4 brake swap I had done. A knowledgeable, professional and enthusiastic car guy. I wouldnt go anywhere else

I second the comment above. Mark knows BMWs and really knows the E9x platform as he owned a few of them.

Exactly where I plan to go for those to haha. I work about at 15 minute walk away from the shop, so I'm sure we're going to get acquainted pretty quick. Rod bearings per gallon lifestyle

Hopefully I see you around sometime that would be an interesting swap to take a look at.
