The title says it all. Myself and another friend here in NM are looking to do the same thing. We both have oem 19's and have out cars lowered (1"). No spacers... There are far more 275's than 265's to choose from but are concerned about possible rubbing issues. I know this is only a change of 5mm on each side of the tire but would love to hear from the wheel/offset experts on this forum before we potentially waste money. Would you recommend a 35 series or 30 series aspect ratio? I would think still 35 since the difference in size is minimal. I appreciate your thoughts.

275/35 rear should fit no problem with no rubbing issues.

i would recommend 275/30 instead of 275/35...

i am running 275/35 nitto nt05 on aftermarket rims. they were perfect when i was on stock height but as soon as i was lowered on KW v3, i had a little rubbing when i go through very large dips in the road. so if you are lowered, i'd do 275/30 but on stock height, 275/35 would be perfect.

I had 275/35/19 on my previous set of wheels on my Dinan stage I lowered E90M3 and had no issue.
My local buddy is lowered with RD (lowest spring available for E9X M3 as long as I know) and running 275/35/19 no issue.

I have the same question, I am planning to get a set of AD08 for my stock 19" wheels, since AD08 has limited sizes, can I go for 255/35/19 front, 275/30/19 rear?
My car is the edition model, which is about 1cm lowered with 10mm spacers. Thanks

Sorry guys, every body is talking about lowered or modded cars. Mine is the standard 19 Inch wheels with 245 fronts and 265 rears. Can I go to same 245 front but upgrade rears to 275/35/19. Will I have any issues with rubbing/ handling/speed? Remember my car isn't lowered and no plans to do so.

I think the point here is if it works on a lowered car it will definitely work if you are not lowered (more *******.

If you plan to widen the back you should consider going up a size in the front as well to maintain balance 255/35/19 in front.

I'd love to widen the fronts too, I'm just afraid if rubbing with full range turns!! If you guys think it won't rub, I'll do that. My next question would be, will these wider ones fit in the Sam OEM 19s wheels I have? Any draw back to what I am about to do. I have always kept my cars and tires stock hence the inexperience!

use 255/35/19 and 275/35/19. since your car is stock and not lowered, you will have no issues. upsizing both fronts and rears would keep the car's stock traction balance so its better than just widening the rears. you wont rub even on full lock turns with 255s in front.

Opening this thread up to see if you guys can help me answer my questions. I am running 15 and 12mm spacers dropped on Ground Control. Can I do 255 and 275/35/19 with no rubbing??? I have a feeling i'm cutting it close.
