Recommended bug remover?

Every now and then I drive through a wooded & damp section at dusk and get lots of bugs on the front. I need recommendations for a good but safe bug remover spray.

Does BMW make something?

Thanks...

Stoner makes a good tar and bug remover also. Just rewax the area you use the remover on.

One vote for either Einszett or P21S TAW.

Lighter fluid and a towel. Seriously. Most bug and tar removed are nothing more than lighter fluid. Soak a towel in it and hold it on the area (don't rub!) until the bugs soften up.

Well, that makes two things in 2 minutes I've learned on the board today.

I use a Dupont one, or just Griot's Garage Speed Shine detail spray. Lighter fluid or any of the dedicated bug/tar removers will of course remove your wax as well.

Wax-safe alternative I've been using lately is simply soaking it in quick detailer for about 5 minutes, then wiping off. Whatever remains can be removed with the same method and a little bit of rubbing with an MF towel. I use Meg's 34. Soapy water seems less effective, maybe because it sheets too much.

Not as quick as the 1Z but it's a little more wax friendly if you don't feel like waxing right away.

DO NOT use Chemical Guys Bug Bugger and Tar remover! I left it on a litle too long and it ate through the clearcoat!

did you dilute it? it's not meant for prolonged undiluted use. I mixed it 4:1 and it the perfect strength, the bugs melt and the tougher ones are removed by a bit of rubbing with a microfiber towel
