Quoted weight is 20KG more, not 300. Also, stated power is 15hp more than the GT3. I'll wait for some reviews before jumping the gun.

Like I said, great effort but isnt enough to rube a top dog like the GT3 and Scuderia are.
Good to know we already have someone who has driven the m3 GTS the day it was released.

I mean you must have driven it to know if its better or worse right?????

Oh the GT3 defense force is already here. Seriously, the GT3 is amazing but the GTS can be amazing too. Why don't we wait til full specs are revealed and reviews are done before claiming anything?

Definitely something similar. Someone needs to come out with a 4.4L kit.

You've driven this one and both Porsches already?

That huge spoiler and colour:NO.

115k in D means 140k in NL(EUROS that is....), which means about the same price as a 997GT3.

I choose the GT3.

But atm I want those brakes on my M please...

Now it makes sense why the test car was sporting a KW decal.

This is THE model to own. Great job everyone at BMW.

This m3 is 1490 kgs, or 1490 X 2.2 = 3278. That is 318 LBS more than a GT3 RS without the additional weight saving options of a GT3.
The GTR weighs 800lbs more and beats the GT3 and so does the new 997.2 Turbo weighs about 100lbs more then this car so its not all about weight.

Have you driven the M3 GTS already?? NO

so don't make such a claim. This looks like an excellent effort from BMW, and I think it has the potential to be as fast or faster than a GTR/GT3/GT3RS but only time will tell. And I'm glad to see this and the M5 CSL, it lets me see that BMW is still staying true to the ///M division.
