Bought new BMW rotors
With careful shopping I bought the fronts for $225 each shipped from autohausaz on sale and the rears for $213 each on eBay from a bmw dealer. $875 for all 4. Mine are worn to or beyond spec and rusted badly inside after 9 years and 90k miles. Previously changed to braided lines and bronze guide bushings, titanium plates on the piston side, and stop tech street pads but bought a new set of ST pads. Calipers looked good — piston boots supple and in place.
Wheel bearings seem fine now but they won’t last forever. Tie rod ends also good, but I know they will go. Already replaced front control arms and end links. Want to keep it handling and stopping well. It’s a great car. |

What did you pay for your rotors when you swapped them earlier this year? Mine are all BMW branded though the Zimmermans are identical.

Best prices I've heard of anyone getting on factory rotors, nice work!
BTW, I've tried tons of pads and highly prefer PFC Z-rated on the street, you might like them. I use Pagid black/yellow for the track.

The PFC Z were 50% more $ and the reviews mixed. I know the StopTechs since I have run them on my 08M3 before and on my 99M3 with StopTech ST40. I doubt they are the best pad but they aren’t bad. Probably the best daily driver pad is the stock one. And yes, I though $875 for BMW rotors was pretty good.
