Brake Force Display Coding Help

Has anyone been able to successfully enable Brake Force Display on an frm2 car? I have a 2010 BMW M3 Coupe and I've read so many posts on the forums about brake force display but not 1 has been able to clearly give steps or an answer to how exactly to enable it on an frm2 car. I will list what I've enabled below and if anyone can chime in and let me know what else to enable or disable to make it work that would be much appreciated.

I'll try this. The reason I activated it is because the only thread where it specified frm2 had that enabled. But it doesn't hurt to try that way. I'll report back later today

What I did to test is go out at night, windows down and brake hard and you'll see it flash off of trees if it works. It's annoying there's so many threads on brake force display but no one ever gives clear answers lol it's always broken up in like 100 different posts

It works! I had to set BFD_1_ALGORITHMUS to nicht_aktiv. Just copy my notes above and it'll work!

Yes, I remembered I referenced back to a post and enabled a few more lines than the ones I posted originally in this post. I am going to attach a copy of my TRC file so anyone can reference to it.

If you can, probably should show what you changed as the TRC has a ton of lines of unrelated items.

I'll post the full list tomorrow. It's taken me a few weeks and multiple attempts to get it working so I can't remember off the top of my head but I'll reference back to the other posts and list it all out for everyone.

you just FA wrote $5AB to FMR only? I thought you suppose to write that in CAS and FRM simultaneously..

There shouldn't need to write the VO if you are manually changing the parameters.

VO alters the set of defaults to enable when you recode the module to default.

My defaults > Required > current values on my FRM3.C32 module.

I was wondering that. If you have all values in your FRM you shouldn't have to add to VO, you're right
I'll try coding and see what happens

What you can do:

Default code your FRM3. Save TRC somewhere.
FA write $5AB to CAS/FRM
Default code your FRM3. Compare to original TRC.

You should be able to see the differences and that will tell you what $5AB defaults are.

Ok I just coded this to my car and you don’t have to code anything to VO no $5AB needed. Just code all above my post here without last two cc_meldung...
It’s working great for NFRM2 and I will post a short video when it uploads in a sec!

so I wasn't driving fast enough to get a good show but you can see the rear fogs come on and all 3 brake lights started to flash for a split second.
that's without $5AB added to VO
