2009 E90 M3 6 Spd 77k miles, Rod knock
Selling clean 2009 BMW E90 M3 6sp manual, lemans blue with bamboo interior. Has slight rod knock. Engine still starts and runs. Interior is mint. Never tracked. Local pickup only. $17,500. I can't help but think if the rod knock is "Slight" you're doing yourself a disservice by trying to sell it in this condition.
Has a shop actually looked at the car and given it an estimate? Otherwise a prospective buyer is probably going to factor in the cost of an entire engine replacement. If it's salvagable you'd probably better off fixing it then selling it. An LMB E90 in otherwise good looking condition should easily put you $10K+ higher.

Are you positive its rod knock? I see you have BE bearings, I've never heard of them failing before. Just a long shot but bad AC compressor bearings will make a similar noise to rod knock.
