I didn't inquire about it since I'm not in the market for another E90, just noticed it on Autotrader so I posted it. Sounds like you guys have discovered it's got a checkered past & is being sold by a shady dealership, which is too bad as the spec is pretty nice + low miles.

I sent them two emails as well before the CarFax was posted because I’d love a Melbourne E90 after having my Jerez for over 4 years and it was like pulling teeth trying to get a straight response. And I work in the car business myself.

Whoaaa!! Are we allowed say that a BMW dealership is shady?? I got kicked out of the Puget Sound Mini Owners Club for saying that Seattle Mini were one of the worst dealerships I've ever dealt with (a true statement).

Yes we are!

Actually, after I posted this I realized the dealership in this case was a BMW dealer. I know dealerships are mostly frowned upon around here, but that's typically service related. It's surprising... to me at least to get such a crappy response/non-response from a BMW dealership sales dept. My last 3 BMWs were all purchased used from 3 different BMW dealerships in 3 different states and my experience was excellent/5 stars in all 3 cases. Not sure what is up with this dealer, though their Google reviews are pretty good overall.
