electronic wheel still avail?

2019534178

I need that clockspring and harness bad. I have a v2 wheel but the shop I bought it from forgot to take the harness and clockspring out of the project car it came off of before selling. I'm out $1600 on a OEM leather wrapped v2 wheel with no working lights. Very hard parts to source. If you can help me with that that would be great, or I could buy your wheel and just use the parts. Thanks!

I can only sell as a set because they are useless without each other, as you've already learned.

$800 plus shipping and it's yours. What you do after purchase is your choice. Thanks

I dont understand we you would make your problem, his problem???

Without the clock spring and harness, this whell is a paperweight. You can sell your wheel for normal wheel prices, but thats all ya got. Wanting to take his, to make you whole... and screw him over, is such a "punch in the face-able" offense. Smfh

I offered to buy the whole wheel and just use the parts, regardless. He said that a shop sourced the parts for him so I asked for help. I don't know why you're acting like a sassy 12 year old girl responding on a post when you have no intention of buying or helping the process. Try "Hooked on Phonics" for your poor comprehension issues. Reading isn't for all of us.

Hey man

Yeah, the shop had to source a part to connect the replacement wheel (OEM, not digital) back to the car.

This is because I asked them to keep all the hardware intact for the digital wheel..somebody else on the forum thankfully have me a heads up about that! Basically, if you're looking for a source for the harness/connector for the digital wheel then I'm sorry I can't help. Good luck!

Folks, I appreciate the interest but I CANNOT do PayPal.

I understand if that's inconvenient, but please don't message me to ask if I will change my mind. Thanks

Long story, but I'll try and condense it -

I sold a set of OEM brakes to some guy for $3.5k. We used the PayPal service fee so that both of us would be protected. I'm not sure what exactly happened, but this guy sent pics of the package he received and it was absolutely trashed. Like a truck had run over it. Broken parts, missing parts and all that.

The OEM brakes are a common part, so I never found out if this actually happened or if he faked it with spare parts. Either way, PayPal took his side even after I submitted all the documentation, pictures of packaging, pictures before packaging etc.

PayPal customer service was absolute shit..worse than Comcast. Only auto-replys and bots, and if I got a person on the phone then they were from some random call center in India and had no idea what was going on. It was a total crapshoot.

So after months of this crap, PayPal eventually locked my account unless I return the buyer's money. And buyer went radio silent so I never know what happened with the brakes. I do know that he got his money back, though.
